I do both, defrost in tank water and also just throw it in. Normally LFS's sell them 5 packs for £10. Each pack has 20+ small blocks. There is a variety of different packs. I have Blood Worm, cyclops, brine shrimp, mysis, daphnya (sp), tube worm.

Kuhli loaches like to burrow and hide. They are nocturnul but mine swim about in the day. I have got 8 but dont ever see all of them at same time. Sometimes see 6 at once during feeding time.

Buy your own bandit. A mate of mine did it for his brother who was addicted to them. He kept the key so his brother would gamble on it and in a way was saving. When he did drop the bandit, he had some spending money yo go buy something he wanted. Just an idea.

By the term "Stick ON", it means the heater malfunctions and constantly stays on. Normally heater turns on for a period of time, then switches off again. But when a malfunction occurs it either stays on constant or doesnt switch on at all. Both can have their consequences.
