    fishless cycle ph has crashed to 6.6 ammonia at zero's from day 14 topping up to 3ppm daily nitrites off the chart have not hit a zero yet nitrates at 20ppm (not moving) all still ok ?

    ok ph now at 6.6 nitrites off the chart(purple straight away) nitrates at 20ppm and been that way for some time dosing amonia at 3 clears very quickly and been that way for some time 40x16x16 sand base with tetratec ex1200 nothing seems to be moving any thoughts very welcome

    yes i have been dosing to around 4ppm i also tried a bit more 5ppm and it cleared just as quick i am adding 3-4ppm ammonia at the same time daily

    day ten 44gallon ammonia not quite a 2 more like 3 so i have not yet had my first 0 but i have nitrites high when i drop in the drops it turns purple straight away!!!(api kit) ph 8.2 temp 29 does this all sound ok?

    got a jewel rio 180 (44g)by the calculator 39*15*16 to be honest the only fish i do not like is the neon tetra and guppies plenty of different types of gourmi in my lfs and barbs also i like i would prefer as many diffent types of fish as possible and non planted i have got the tetratec ex1200...
