How do you get growth on the dwarf plants like you do. Every time ive tried both Eleocharis parvula and Hemianthus callitrichoides its almost like immediate death when they go in the tank?

You could look at some hatchet fish if you tank is closed top (as they jump) and i'm lead to beleive that they have quite a small bio load.
