Sorry about this one, Bought new test kit, nitritre is below 0.3. sorry for the hassle. :*)

I have tested my tap water and appear to have high levels of nitrites in my water. Is this normal/possible, is my test kit faulty, i have the paper test kit which gIves readings for nitrates, nitrites, kh, ph etc can any one advise me. :dunno:

Its called cycle bacteria, it was recommended by my lfs when i explained my problem

Although the say you shouldnt I have a blue lobster in my community tank, and it happily lives in a large rock in the middle of the tank, and doesnt tend to bother any of the other fish.

I set up anew tank a few weeks ago and everything was fine. However although I have been doing weekly water changes adding bacteria etc, my water is extremely cloudy. Any ideas???????
