My female platy has fluffy white stuff on top of it's head and some its scales are protruding :unsure: . Is the fluffy white stuff fungus and the protruding scales dropsy? should i treat the fish with meds?

The guppy looks like blue from the flash but it is actually 1/2 dark blue and 1/2 pale :)

Lol. I don't really reccomend Wardley's Fish Flakes!! It has some rather weird ingredients rather than the simple flakes. Though it is really beneficial that it sinks fast :D Here are what the Wardley's Fish Flakes ingredients: Fish meal Wheat Flour Soy Protein Concentrate Wheat Gluten Meal...

Nah..it works by agitating the gravel and the debris travels in the water (just like sperm and semen :wub: )

My zebra danio jumped out of the water in a blurring motion and ate a small fly!! :rofl:

I just got a female guppy to reproduce with my male guppy. My female guppy is about 2 inches and my male is twice it's size. My male guppy is only interested in the platies.. :X

Do Bronze Corydoras catfish eat algae?

I am thinking of putting this in my 12g.. would that be suitable?

Hi, they ARE very hardy fish, in fact, if you leave a couple in a dirty malaysian dam, you will see 12 generations in one year! :D

Lol, sorry. My platy is a 'mickey-mouse' type of variety and it looked like my male platy had already injected sperm. It is around three centimetres long (can't be bothered to do calculations in inches sorry). If this helps, I am saying the female platy looks hexagonal with a view from the rear. :X

Sorry I don't have a digital camera, but the female platy seems 1.5cm fat and has about 5 tiny black spots following with a faint, really thin line. Could this be the fry developing? Help please -_-

What are good places for Corydoras to rest/hide? I have: small flower pots, cork, stones, plants.. Which one of those would best suit them? AND I heard that clown loaches can only grow up to about 13cm in a small tank; bigger tanks encourage them to grow about 3/4 of an arm's length (30cm)...

Like the topic title & description says; is the average mouth of an otocinclus big enough to eat just born guppy fry? I'm thinking of getting one because that is a reccommended as a scavenger. :unsure: I am going to get guppys in a few days' time, MAYBE add a otocinclus, depending on peoples...
