They do a good job at cleanup. You will have a lot of them eventually if there is enough food for them to eat. I liked them a lot for their cleanining abilities too. There is some debate on how good they are for your tank though. Some find them to be a nuisance. I didn't mind them. Not sure...

I used to have ramshorns for years in my tanks. Generations of inbreeding tended to start producing snails with little shell coloration and sometimes even transparent shells. Maybe something like that is happening here. I am now snail-less.

I could NOT pass up the 125 gallon. I got it from someone who was trying to get rid of it and she sold it to me for $300---stand and all equipment included (I have since replaced the heaters and gravel though)

I am going to try. My computer has an issue with uploading pictures from my digital camera. Even the SD reader on the tower isn't operational at the moment. I have a workaround though but it will be with my camera phone. Will try tonight to get some for you all.
