labs will be fine with the mix mate i keep a group of ten in my main tank with aulonocara no issues. just choose a food type like nls or new era green and both fish groups would be fine

I have kept malawis for a long time and just a few months for keeping Tangys i am finding them the same to keep as long as you keep them in clean water and good food they seem happy!

I have found most through breeders but they seem harder to find than malawis!

why risk something that isnt necessary to the fish that might cause issues tho?
