This is definately a sign of spawning. Normally the female lays her eggs in a nice tight spot and the male will stay there with them to guard them. Even once they hatch the male will stay put and look after the young until they are able enough to leave the "nest" Congratulations. Mine aint...

Not as much time as you would think. Ild say about 2 hours a week. It pretty much looks after itself. Obviously I add ferts every morning. Every monday evening I do a 50% water change, have a good trim, clean the glass inside and out and thats about it really:-) I only clean my filter once...

She sounded abit stunned and said the person I need to speak to was in a meeting. She took my number and said they would call me back. Never got a call...

Well im happy to report that since changing my FE for a fresh full new one, my bubble count/pressure hasnt dropped off and has remain consistant once again. My theory above must be correct. Which means 5kg of co2 only lasts me 3 months:-( Oh well least its problem solved
