have 6 platys 4 female 2 male and 11 fry about 3 weeks old now and a spotted corydora that i am lookin to re-home as the platys are breeding to fast and we havnt got the room for a bigger tank or any friends with tanks that would take them off our hands, so sadly they have to go, live in...

hmm cheers thought it was looking a bit ropey will take it out and get a different plant, its weird as where i got it from had loads in with all the aqauatic plants

i wont be putting her in a box or not net if she is pregnant she will be having the fry in the tank we have only recently got them and are getting a couple more females next week to keep the other male entertained, we arnt planning on keeping the fry so we will just let nature do its course...

my female platty looks a little plump and does seem to be getting bigger she has paired off with a male and there always swimming about together and genarly stay together the other male keeps trying to get a look in but just gets chased off any help would be great cheers

and is it aquatic? as seems to be going a dark green and the fish are eating it cheers

set up my tank on sunday its a 48 litre fishbox, added tapsafe and filter start, got myself a ph test kit and nitrate nitrite and tested ph was 8.5 and there were no nitrates or nitrites according to the test, so i then got some ph down and have lowerd it to 7 also an ammonia test kit and its at...

just joined up, as starting to get into tropical fish have my tank all set up and just letting it settle at mo any advice would be a great help cheers
