Pop a mirror in the tank see if he flare's up if he do he aint blind, How old was the fish when you got him , as far as i am aware thay sell them at around 4-5 months old and avarage lifespan is around 3 years , and if you have had him 2 years maybe just getting old :sad:

Sorry yeah i want to build a plywood tank but as the mr's have agreed that i could get big one as long as you only have one she said :shout: do a whole wall that be nice :hyper: .. problem is awaiting to move to a permenant home so i do not know exact length but looking at around 5-6ft height...

Just those 3 and two Golden barbs got a new tank for the barbs alone got a mirrord back so it looks like i got 6 do that count lol, the plecs are going back to the shop next week, the betta is in his own tank with a mate and the oscars and the perch staying in other tank so until father...

Hmm sounds familiar my first experiance of the guy in the shop sold me 2 angel's 20 neons 2 plec's a Betta fighter fish 2 kissing gourami's a knight goby and a female fighter and 4 tiger barbs and a spotted climbing perch , hence the angels ate all my neons,the plecs are now getting to a size...

Only Have 3 barbs 2 fight i would say say once a day and the other just stay's there watching possible picking a mate well theats what the behaviour looks like to me I read on the net that males have red nose and more red on fin's i suspect top one to be male and bottom female as the bottom...

I have mine in a 3 gallon tank he seem's happy enough anything smaller just too hard to maitain water qualities

he's not aggressive he in an community tank with neons serpar serpae tetra and baby tiger barbs he do chase them out of his terror ory but never attacks

its a fish google it lol , mine is peacefull ish will accept flake food just getting 2 big for my tank it's 3-1/2 inch long and inch depth
