Hello All, In August this year I shut down my tanks and gave my fish to friends and family as I was moving over to Myanmar from the UK. Now I have been here a few months I would love to get a fish, I have been to the shop. They have the basics; fish, tanks, substrate, filters, heaters etc...

Setting up a new tank. but main reason is so my Betta isn't blown around the tank so bought the new HOB filter. will run them both for 3 more weeks for good measure. tanks been running for 4 years so well cycled. new filter has been running for a week now at same time.

I want to change my old internal filter for my new hang on filter. They've now been both running on the same time for a week. How long before the new filter is ready to run alone and I can put old filter into another tank? Cheers

I know i should test with vinegar to test but my question is.   Whats the best way to clean?   I was thinking a good scrub with nail brush and clean water then soak in a bucket of water for a week changing the water daily.   Maybe throw in some sort of invertebrate killer so no worms, bugs are...

So a couple of years ago i had a shrimp tank and the shrimp blossomed really quickly.   I started back up this year, this time with ONLY RCS.    I have had one batch of babies and they have been 2mm long for weeks now. I haven't seen any moults anywhere.   What could be wrong?

Pill boxes Is a good idea, and I could put an alarm in my room too.   Water change wise I'll have to do a large change before I go. and ask if she'll do one after 2 weeks of me being away.

Basically as title really    Ive looked at auto feeders but they are for open topped tanks, which mine isn't   My mum isnt the most reliable person to help out but she will remember maybe dropping a weekly tablet in.   However will this mean my RCS get overfed?   Help and opinions welcomed/
