I think 1 of my female guppy's is pregnant, whats the best thing to buy to seperate the female from the other fish while she is giving birth? This is the first time any of my fish have been pregnant.

A tiny snail has appeared in my tank. Really confused to how this has got in there. None have been put in?

Cheers, I feel like giving up as I have spent a lot of money on getting the tank set up with everything to go in it. I aint done any water testing, wasn't really aware that you had too, how much are the test kits? what do I look for when testing the water? As you can tell, i'm new to all of this.

Tank set up about 3 weeks ago. Tank is 2 feet. 2 Neon Tetra's have died along with 3 out of 4 male Guppys. I seen the third Guppy die yesterday, for hours the fish was swimming to the top of the water, upwards then like sinking back down as if it was dead, till the last min, kept doing that...

When I got the dead fish from the tank, all of its fins at the back were gone. Is this normal?

Cheers. Yeah i do, I live in Hartlepool. The tank size is 2 foot, and it's been set up about two weeks. Other fish in are: 1 neon, 2 characins and 4 male guppys. It's set to the correct temp (advice from the internet)

Hi all, first post. I have just found 1 of my Neon Tetra's dead. All the other fish seem OK, and the other neon does too. Any ideas what could of happened? Are they hard to keep? Cheers
