ive just got 3 new masked cory to day :drool: and i noticed that the tanks become a lot more active i have 3 albino and 1 juli also and all cory have taken in a lot more air from the surface and all are around in the upper layers?? should i be worried??? all sats normal (wide 10 gallon tank)...

ammonia - 5ppm nitrate-0 nitrite-0 ph? havent changed the tank enviroment but... just noticed the flake food in which i have been fedding for a week is out of its sell by date?? could that contribute!?!

he loooks the same in size and there are no sores or marks but.. he is darker in colour and seems to be takng in more airfrom the surface ?? thanks

hi thanks for the reply!! well the tank is 8 months old but the julli have been in for 5 months and have allways been very active now one of them looks and swims very weak ?? the stats are fine but doing a water change any way just to be safe ! but other fish arnt affected and dont know if...

it looks fine to me! i think(correct me if im wrong??) a crown tail type?

tiger barbs will eat them alive !!! there fins are too long and will hunt them down ! i think its best to go with a more plasid fish ! :good:

same with pets at home !! the fish were in shocking conditions. there were bettas in tanks where they coulnd even move let alone show of there fins. the was 3 albino corries in with about 1000 guppies (not an egseration) and the poor cories had no fins what so ever!! also there were many platies...

i bought three albino cory's and put them in with 5 rosy tetra. everthing was fine for the first week then... i woke up 1 morning to find 1 of the cory had no barbels, no tail fine and hardly any dorsal fine, the poor thing could hardley swin the other corys also had no tail fins or barbels...

just wondering if i can feed the cory daphnia? any advice welcome! :good:

yep!, they attack in groups of 2 or 3 on the smallist cory and then in the full shoal of 5 when they attack the bigger cory !?!?! but they are in a small tank of 8 gallons? thank you natcat
