I have owned two marble mollies now and both of them went from black and white to nearly solid black. Is this a common phenomenon? What is the cause? I also own a dalmatian molly but she has retained the coloration present when I first bought her. I apologize if this has been discussed...

Actually I found a fourteenth fry swimming around in the tank this morning so I rescued him and put him in the trap with his siblings. I talked to a pet store owner today about possibly selling some of the offspring pending their developing colors (mom is a blue tuxedo and dad is a sunset)...
