I am new to this, my platy final giving birth. She has been in the breeder box for 2 hrs now (since 5:20pm Eastern) and she only dropped 4 fry. My questions are: how long does she stay in the breeder box? and the other question is, my fry moved from the mother to the bottom of the breeder box...

I do the dechlorinating of the water, should i use distilled water to clean the filter and adding to the tank? :huh:

I have a 29 gallon tank with 5 goldfish and one rosy red. The water keeps getting cloudy and I check the ammonia and that is fine but i did have to adjust the ph. I did a 25% water change but nothing. I feed them 2x a day not that much what can I do about the water?

I have her in a separate tank right now and I added more plants in the tank. She is hiding near the heater and sometimes in the corners of the tank or under the plants. If she is pregnant and she does drop, how long do I remove her from the tank? I read somewhere that I can not run the filter...

Thanks youngfisher Here is 2 more questions: I have read and seen pictures of female platys fully rounded but mine she is rounded on one side and just a bit on the other. Is that normal? I think she is about a week in her gestation, How will I know when she drops her fry? Monica :unsure:
