Thanks guys, lfs had this down as a Leopard Pleco but from the pictures I have seen of a Leopard Plec, it's definitely not one of those.

would my 100L capacity be ok with all those extra fish + a few shrimp? dont want to risk over crowding.

I'd say that the Danio's are about 5cm. And yep I got lots of plants and potential hiding spots for them.

Do BN's like to hide in caves for hours/days? I ask as ive only had mine a few days and he has gone from constantly being out in the open sucking up all he can find to now hiding in a cave and not appearing. Is this natural or might he be sick?

I went for the Bristlenose and bought one at the weekend. What a cool fish :-) She wasted no time at all in clearing what small algae I had overnight. It was weird to switch on the light this morning to see it all gone! Whats the best food to feed these, algae wafers?

To be fair I dont have an algae problem, now and again I get some small patches on the glass, but other than this im pretty much algae free. I've necer kept a pleco before and fancy having one in my tank so Im thinking either a clown or a couple of pitbull plecs.

Sounds tricky! I presume that dirt would be easier to suck tho as waste etc will sit on the sand surface rather than work its way to the bottom like it does in gravel?

How about a pair of honey Gouramis. They are only small compared to other Gouramis but are very pretty, active and peaceful fish.
