found a dead barb and a dead danio on the bottom of my tank, i forgot to feed them the day before. could this be the cause of death? their tank inhabitants are: 2 swordtails 2 other barbs 2 other danios 2 bronze corys

Breeder NETS are supposed to allow optimum water flow, so there shouldn't be an ammonia spike of any kind, but breeder TRAPS are completely enclosed and will need to be cleaned every day.

You should post in the emergancy section, that way more people like wilder will be able to help you. Also, you shouldn't keep mollies and corys together as mollies require a brackish water enviroment and corys have an almost ZERO tolerance level for salt. If I were you, I would change the water...

OK, I don't know why you posted this in the livebearer section. But I advise you to post this in the emergency section, and get rid of the salt and lower the temp. Get some parasite treatment at your LFS or ask them about your problem. Also did you use table salt? And if you did was it Iodized...

will corys shoal with any species of cory, like aeneus and panda shoaling together. Or peppered and aeneus?

Day 3: light orange gravid spot, size is increasing and body shape is changing. Male CONSTANTLY harasses her, but she continues to avoid him.

Day 2: very light pinkish-orange gravid spot, slightly increased width as well as height. I suspect she is now full of eggs, and when those hatch inside of her, her size will increase. Still behaving healthy and eating normal.

I can get pics but it is very hard with my camera because when I take a pic you can't see any of her physical features of pregnancy, maybe I can get some videos though.

just get a male molly for your female, she will be pregnant in like 2 days. Also, I don't recommend using a trap of any kind as it stresses the female out.

I'm no expert on fish diseases, but it could be finrot. OR since its a livebearer fry its probably just coloration. He's probably just developing his colors, I wouldn't be worried :good: Do you know who the father is? Does it swim okay? Will it eat? is it lethargic? any other fish have this?

Probably not, the last 2 drops yeilded no fry because of my greedy little danios :/ I'm thinking of returning them and getting some fish that aren't as fast or hungry. -_-
