thanks for your reply. i think he's a male because he does flare at the cories sometimes. i hope i'm right in saying that only males do that??

ahh, yep that's where i saw them. i got mine from there plus various other fish and they are all going strong. the guys in there are pretty helpful too. i think they had a dozen or so young pictus. made me realise how big my lot are now!

hey liam, i'm in west sussex and was in one of the local fishshops yesterday. they have pictus in there. good choice of fish, i have 5 myself! :good:
