anyone out there experience with angels (about 2 1/2inch) and tiger barbs?

4 ft tank, 8 tiger barbs, 2 silver sharks, some loaches etc. Tank been fine for a couple of months. Added 4 sunset plattys 3 weeks ago. Now: 1 tiger barb less tail fin, one platty, 3/4 eaten. Has anyone had trouble with sunset plattys and tiger barbs before? tank was fine, no attacks at all...

Hi Don't worry. I did the same ages ago (d'oh) and no problems. If you are really worried, then dilute it down further by doing a partial water change. I am sure you will be fine! James.

How about the Cyprinidae's? My Tiger Barbs have got to be included!

Agree with above, my Tigers also go through periods of high/low colour. They seem very healthy, eat lots and are always active.

Hi I had similar problems on one of my tanks (for no app reason). Go for water changes as this is the best method - however, I also used Nitra-Zorb which helped reduce the Notrite in my tanks to 0 over a few days. James.
