Actually that's my setup right there, have a couple tetras and a couple cories in there too, and they all get on fine.

I've noticed that if the bubbles tend to build up and not just sit on top of the water but start to look like little tiny mountains of bubbles, it's generally a bubble nest.

Make sure that every 10 minutes or so you add a cup or so of tank water to the bag, until the bag is almost full. This gives the fish a chance to get acclimated to the water in the tank, not just the temperature. Fish can stress out and die if the water is chemically significantly different...
