Cleared out the fish/inverts in the lounge tank and swapped some for some ferns on wood. they are now in the lounge tank whilst the shrimp tank is set up in the coming weeks. M.pteropus and 'narrow' reside with my A.barteri.

keep a eye on those stems, as they get to the surface you will end up with bushy tips and straggly bases! keep them trimmed nicely to help them fill out, then replant the cuttings

are you adding anything back into your RO water along with the salt. Plain RO or pure H2o is damaging to fish as it contains not hardness and no trace elemets that they utilise to remain healthy (calcium, magnesium)

if you can get a close up of some of the plants it will be better... its hard to identify from your pictures then we can tailor our advice to the plants you have, not some generic plant waffle!

hi all, got some fry that im trying to fatten up to go into the larger tank... are there any ways to do it quickly? they about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch 4 fish in a 50L tank 2 filters and airstone, + decor fed twice daily... a mix tub consisting of flake, spirinula, powdered bloodworm, fry food...

if you are fairly experianced go for some faster moving fish, like rainbows, denisonii etc
