Is it essential that i use RO water? At the moment i have been using de-chlorinated tap water,i my parameters are ok. Can i still use this till i get hold of an RO unit?

Just one more, if i am supposed to mix the solution 24-48 hours before adding to the tank how do i get the heat in it before i add it to the tank? Regards

Now that my cycling is complete, will i need to do a water change? IF so how much and do i replace it with saltwater or normal de-chlorinated water? Regards

I am off to get some live rock next week now my tank has cycled. How long do i have to keep my lighting on for for? I have an Arcadia3 series with Metal halide with two Rx7's. And do i have to keep them all on or just the halide or the Rx7's? And do i put the lighting on from day 1? Regards

What is the acual purpose of a powerhead? Is it to move water around the tank with the small hose on or move water around the tank creating a lot of bubbles with the small hose off? Regards

Hi the internal filter was not used for a day if that, the fish are dalmations and 1 plec the tank has been in use for 8 months no i do not have a water test but can get one tommorrow if i do a water change should i use the new fiter again? Thank you for your help
