Im guesing here you are cycling your tank with fish in it? You need to do a water change i would recomend someware in the reigion of 40% imediately and then another 20% in a hour or 2. you will need to keep doing this untill the filter is able to cope with the niterite comftably Ross

I was thinking of getting some i think there great but i have a 90 l tank atm but plan to get a 300+ one in a year or so and wonderered if they would grow too fast for the 90l but it seems they will be ok wich is a bit of a result. Thanks for the advice once again its much apricated :good: :good:

Its funny in the shop they seem to be a little more active i guess he will take a while to settle in and algy levels are still building so when theres more he might come out to eat a bit more during the day too... ive moved a plant pot over in to the darker corner of the tank under the pump wich...

Its a 90l tank with a few danios 1 spotted pleco and the gf wants some cherry barbs soon lol

That was perfect thank you im quite happy with the cycling side of things it was just this that concerned me slightly ill be keeping plecs and read that because of their gill structure they like good amounts of oxygen in the water so i thought a airstone could help with this. Cheers
