Do you think there will be much stress on them going from a hi nitrate tank, etc., to a clean tank? Think I should use one of the angels as a "test" and see how it does or just do the transfer and go from there?

I definitely agree that 12 in a 50g is stretching it. But right now thats all I can do. The 50g is merely a stop gap. I have a couple of 30s that are still cycling that I was thinking about putting 6 in each, but thats at least a week or more away so right now the 50g seems the best...

All the angels are approx 5 to 5 1/2ins top to bottom with body size around 2 1/2 to 3 ins.

Thought I'd share a pic of my male Betta Foerschi. This species is one of the mouthbrooding bettas. His TL is not quite 1.75 ins. Shot isn't the greatest, but caught him out rooting around for some left over bloodworms. JIM

Ian....heres the response from the importer. Whatcha think? "Jim, No, the issue here was the weren't eating as well as I like when we release them. We have to have them eating a varied diet which can be problematic for many species as they all prefer and want live bloodworms over everything...

Ian Thnx for the input. I got the rabs from a pretty reputable importer here in the states..not saying they can't make mistakes. I looked at the zygatus and truthfully can't see much difference, at least nothing that jumps out. Maybe its a region thing? In any case, I emailed them questions...

I very rarely sell, but I do trade....more fun that way. Will probably be close to 6 months before I have any fry big enuff to safely trade. These buggers are really small but the fry aren't too hard to raise if you keep up with them. Thnx for asking. JIM
