Ha after weeks and weeks of looking i found out that my shrimps are Red Tail Shrimps, has anybody got 1 if so have you any info on them ? Sorry for some reason i put it in emergency should be in chit chat oops :*)

I still have more plants to get, its a bit empty on plants right now, nettie who took these said i was having problems because the tank water was so yellow still, so she said when that clears she`l come down and do all the fish and the tank properly, but till then the yellow waters reflecting...

I got my clown loaches x3 yesterday and now they are adventuring out more now, but on a night they are much more relaxed and are all over the place

Well i try always to make the deco look as natural as possible, and when this is achieved ( with real plants ) it looks so much better, im another one who did castles and all that, took one look and thought tacky, and then redid it, so natural in my eyes, but its all in the eye of the beholder...

Well its ok but a bit milky, right update for all : I now have 2x Shrimpies, Danny dont even try it ! 1 Gourmis, new additions are 3x Clown loaches, 2 died dont know why got water tested and all ok, erm three loaches but im trying to find exactly which ones, i doubt the lfs on decription and a...

I admit myself i dont know much about shrimps but i do know they eat their shed skins because they are full of nutrients that are good for them, so i am letting mine eat theirs, but dont get me wrong i dont think this had any effect on your outcome at all

The chemical / biological staining substance that leeches from bogwood when placed in the tank, it makes the water go brown. The process of it drawing out of the bogwood and into water is called "leeching"

Well it cant be over feeding, i put in that little, due to only one fish and two shrimps If you dont want to use filters thats your choice but ill stick with them, dont know any fish that eat bogwood leeching stuff so the filter helped there. The second is bacteria "bloom", This is good as it...
