If you can't find anything to stab it with, you can buy a vege clip to stick to the side of the tank or put something ontop of it. I sometimes put mine partly under a decoration.

I thought about getting him a female friend or two but I don't know how aggressive he would get with females. I asked before but it was suggested he would be better on his own. He is healed up pretty well now. He still flies around to hide from me but hasn't ran into anything that bad lately.

I do like eating fish and enjoy fishing but I would never keep something I wouldn't eat or to put it on a wall. I prefer a humane catch and release or keeping a few to take home to eat. Just wondering, why are you questioning the hobby now, what happend?

They are both male so they aren't friends anymore. One chases the other into a corner and tries to rip his fins. They flare at each other too. If my angelfish fry live, I can ask if they will take the angels and the gourami. However, I still am perplexed about my other gourami being so spooked.
