I have 2 Black Ruby Barbs (I think they're the same thing) and they live in a tank with Rosy Barbs and Tiger Barbs. I haven't had any problems so far. I find that they have similar behavioural characteristics as Tiger Barbs so they pretty much hold their own. I hope this helps.

I think he must have! Last night, my own Betta went on a rampage and beat up my Angelfish, a Glowlight and a female Cherry Barb after being let out of a 2 day solitary confinement (a breeding net). I fear a backlash from my Glowlights or the Noens. They out number Mr Betta 11 to 1. -_-
