    Price Check

Hi I'm just wondering if you guys can give me a rough idea of a price, or what you would pay for a Juwel Rio 125. It is the tank and cabinet, beech colour. The internal filter has been removed that comes with it, and now has a fluval 105. The light has gone, and I think it may need a new unit...

    Snails Are Ruining My Life

When I had a snail problem, I missed one vital place when getting rid of them, that was the filter. I thought I'd overcome the problem of snails only to find they'd come back. Then when doing maintenance on the tank, I thought, filter, opened it up, and there were loads of the buggers eggs in...

    How Long To Clone Filter?

I've cloned a couple of filters in the past and I've always given the filters 4 weeks to be on the safe side. Another way you could do it would be to put some mature media from the old filter into the new filter. Once you do this, you should (if all goes well), be able to put the new fish into...

    Rena Filstar Xp2 External Filter

It may have been that, I will never know! Needed to get a new filter at the time, as the XP2 I had was nowhere near powerful enough for the tank. I got the tank second hand with filter so never had any instructions, so I guess the people who first set it up, never set it up properly. The actual...

    Highly Confused

I always turn my heater off before a water change, leave it about 10 mins or so for the heater to cool, then empty water then refill. If you don't turn the heater off (if it hasn't got a overheat protection), then once you fill the tank up, you risk cracking/breaking the very hot glass once it...

    Rena Filstar Xp2 External Filter

Had one with my tank when I got it, was ok, just about did the job, but had an absolute nightmare priming the thing every time I cleaned my tank out. Would take me ages to get the thing going, which meant puddles of water over the floor!!!! I think a lot of people like them, but personally...

Anyone Got One Of These External Filters?

They look very very similar to the tetratec ex range of filters, but I should imagine they are not built as well. I would save your money and buy a better known brand, purely for the fact that you will get reliability. The last thing you want to do is wake up and find your tanks contents all...

How Do You Feed With Freeze Dried Cubes....?

Break some of the cube off the put it into the tank. The fish will bite bits off, or eat the bits as they come loose.

    Keeping Hatchets And Angels ?

I've had angels and hatchets together, they live peacefully together. If you look in this video in youtube, you can see the marble hatchets doing there thing, but you can also see the angles in there aswell. Sorry, forgot the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5LCaMYmAro

Not possible, i'd be left with a useless stand that I'd have no chance of selling. Also, they are not that cheap looking and are built solid as they weight they have to hold.

One of the filters is about 18 months old, and the other is about 5 months old. The cabinet is in fairly good condition, couple of slight scuiff marks. The tank has a few scratches, not really visible until you look at it close up.

    Few Pictures

Cheers people. The marble Angel is lovely, I've had it roughly 18 months loads of character, bit of a bully though although it has been tamed slightly. Hopefully I'll get some more shots soon once I get used to all of the settings from my camera, may take a while though!!! The camera is a...
