Hey all Have had 2 oto's for abotu a week now and they dont seem happy. They both have a real thing for the heater in the tank! and aren't eating any food i put in for them and there isn't any growing algae left! What can i do for them?? cheers

depends on the fish, i've seen my platies munch a very small snail and i hear loaches are rather partial too

guys am very very tempted to nab a tank and fish that are being offered on here.... whats the best way to transport? tank should fit into my cars boot i know its not ideal but its approx 1.5 hour trip. advice please thanks

my tanks about the same size, platies and guppies thriving i'd go with 3/4 male guppies the ones with the big showy tails and about the same number of male high fin platies, lots of fun to watch too my boys are all bonkers! I do find the moving stuff about in the tank every soo often helps keep...

hey all my gups are about 3 months old, was wondering at what age are they fully mature with all their colours etc? the 3 boys i have all have orangy tails but thats as colourfull as it gets so far

already been told to watch them like a hawk! they are munching the plants though !! the taller one at the front was twice that size pre oto!!! will get them some cougette... but they may have to fight the guppies for it lol

sadly no adult guppies... dad died and mum got return to prevent more babies! I know its getting close to overstock now....... think i'm going to go inspecting the local fish shops see who i'd be happy taking some of them too want to keep some boys though hence needed to know how to sex them...

OK the babies are about 4 weeks old now and some are gettin close to an inch long now... They all still look like girls with the large fan anal fin... I have about 4 that are shpwing colour and thats about it... Do ya reckon i have all girls?? or could they still turn out to be some boys...

its a 35ltr biube the plant at the front left is looking decidedly unhappy, had previously put this down to the snail invasion though

the babies are a week or 2 old now and the bigger ones are about 15mm holding their own against the platies the biggest of which is just over 1.5 inch now. Not looking for any more platies sorry going to keep a couple of the guppies for meself if they turn out to be pretty boys but the rest...

I'm not a fish expect but i do have a dozen baby guppies who will be in need of good homes in the near future my 35ltr wont be big enough and by coincidnce i live in lincoln too lol
