I recently purchased 5 dubawi catfish and at first they seemed fine and very active, but in the last few days they have been laying on the bottom and acting like my corys, but when i feed them they start to swim around like before. Just wondering if this is normal behavior for this type of fish...

How about some Gourami's or Kribensis? You would only need a couple of Gourami's or a Male & Female Krib. They are both quite a showy fish, you can get both of these with some lovely colouration And Kribensis have interesting behaviour. HTH Pablo182

Apistogramma's come in many different species, they dont grow very big and can be quite colourful.
