Update... Well with them all being that small they escaped out of breeding tank through the vents. So they are now back with mum and dad, yes they do look after and protect them well. Left them for now in main tank where born but have a small tank ready just in case any problems.

That's me been up in loft getting small tank, gravel was already in it so no cloudy water. Taken water from main tank and got heater on and pump on so will see how it goes just now. Not sure to try and move tonight or leave tank to sort out or move tomorrow and hope will they be ok.

Hi, Thanks for the idea off the crushed coral in mesh bag.I have added Baking soda and yes it did rise fast so done a little water change to keep them happy so I think I will go with the coral next.Its guppies and tetra's and a couple of small plec's thats in the tank so they should be ok...
