I have platty's in my 10 gallon tank.. I expected them to breed but i didnt expect them to breed with the alge eater... I just noticed today that my alge eater is preggers.. she is the only one in there and i have had her for about 3 months... Is it possible that my platty got her pregant.? And...

I already have a siphon ,but the patties crap so much that i feel like doing it every day .. Of course i cant do that ,but you know what i mean.... All the same i was just wondering .... thanks anyway ;)

Is there a fish that will eat the waste of other fish at the bottom of the tank..... JUst woundering .....

I had a fish loose an eye because of the filter.. he got to close to it and it pulled him in... by the time he got away from the filter it had pulled the eye out of the socket.... I found gold fish tend to have that happen to them alot .... Thats just one of the reasons why i like platties...

I personlly dont even bothering worring about the babies getten eaten , expually if they are platties... Platty breed like rabbits and before you know it your going to have more fish then you know what to do with.... I have had platties for three months now and have had then breed four times...
