hello, i am coming up to my first annivasry of owning a tropical fish tank, i was wondering should i start replacing the filter sponges, or should i just give them a swill out, in the water i take out of the tank, also should i change my flurescent tube and reflector, any help would be most greatful

hello,i added 2 platys 5 days ago and all seemed fine,come home from work tonight and it looks as if my dwarf gourami is dieing,he's on its side on the bottom,all my water stats are fine ph 7.5(its always been like this)nitrate and ammonia 0,any ideas

i am sorry to say my neon gourami has finally died,i think he died of starvation due to the other gourami bullying him,now i'm not sure what to do next,should i get another dwarf gourami to keep the other company or should i get 2 neon gourami and see if that makes a difference with the dwarf...

yes you are right the orange on is the more dominat,he still didnt look right this morning so done a good water change and then went to the pet shop,took a water sample and everything is good with the water,now tonite looks as if he id dieing,he is on his sde and just laying on the bottom,not...

hello i have a rekord 96 tank,what i am after is some advice on when to change the filters,i change the white one every week,the carbon one every 6 weeks but i am not sure about the green nitrate or the dark and light blue sponges,how often should these be changed

just bought some white spot treatment,made the water turn blue but its gone back clear now, i had to remove the carbon filter will this affect any of the balance of the water
