What i need to know is, are my fish at risk and are they suffering from the fact they now have no tails, i know they grow back, but would it cause them any pain/shock ect, if need be i will take the loach back to get the stability of my tank back

Thanks for the advice sammy, when i got it it also has the silver band around the bottom, should thi be left in place or removed, i have never really known what to do with this, so i always just leave it on and bury it, am i doing wrong, i have now lifted the fern out of the sand.
