THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! This worked awsome, things didnt seem to go exactly as mentioned here however everything worked out my aquarium perfectly cycled in about 2-3 weeks and my fish are loving it. :)

Well I tested my water after treating it with water conditioner and the ammonia and mitrite lvls dont show. Infortunatly before I started the cycle i didnt have nitrate tester. If the water was indeed the case, must i start obver or can i fix this?

I understand the nitrite is toxic but almost all fish can handle very low lvls of nitrite. I can hardly even see the pink in the test and Ive seen fish survive through almost purple lvls of nitrite. Are gouramis super sensitive to nitrite?
