They are 24" T8 Bulbs and yes there is more alqae on the right side of the tank. :sad:

Its funny you say that because the hood for my tank hold 8 tubes 2 on the left hand side for some reason stopped working i replaced the bulbs and still no luck its going in this weekend to be repaired the shop is going to lend me another hood while they repair mine but they did stop working...

Arr ok thanks i wasnt sure what was byropsis. Im going to try the magnesium trick and see if that helps is that recommended?
