To echo Ianho's sentiment, I've got snails and shrimp in a moderately heavily planted tank (just 10 gallon), and I started doseing with Flourish Excel after a massive BGA breakout. No problems with any tank livestock. :)

I too have a smallish group of Embers. They seem to get on well with some other 'lonely' fish I've taken in: a White Cloud, and a Pristella Tetra. The little ragtag group seems to play nicely together! I wish one day for a HUUUUGE tank, big enough to have a dozen of these guys! :drool:

Welcome to the boards FishFixation! I love the Eclipse tanks - I had a System 6, once upon a time, and kept it for a number of years with great success. Your set up looks very pretty! I look forward to seeing who you find to inhabit it!
