Ah right. That's a good one. So the external filters are a better choice. I thought so. If I wanted to spend a little less. Would there be another solution to use?

I currently have powered internal filter in my aquarium. I am concerned that it's not that effective. What sort of filtration should I be using in my tank? Perhaps, what sized powered filter? thanks

OMG! I just realised that I've been feeding the bloodworm completely incorrectly :( I just saw the local aquarium shop owner just throw in the frozen squares so I did the same. Well, I'm so glad I joined this forum. I sure have learned a few very important things already. Thanks everyone.

I do have a lot of rocks and live plants for them to hide. I guess time will tell. :/

:o Got a surprise this morning, a very unexpected one. While I was getting my coffee this morning and went to switch on the light on the aquarium I stared into my aquarium, as I do... And saw these tiny little baby gourami's swimming around. ;) I don't know which of the three gourami's...

I think small to medium tanks are best in glass. But huge tanks are best in acrylic. Just my 2c.

I have a snail problem in our aquarium. We have what seems to be dozens (probably more) snails. The little white ones and some red snails. The problem is that they seem to get to the food that I give the catfish before the catfish get a chance to feel. It's really getting really annoying and...
