Hi, yes axolotls are deffo cold water, I have 6 adults and over 100 hundered babies at the moment lol. The best site for info is www.axolotl.org it has a fab forum too. Axolotl and fish are a no no, fish tend to nibble at their "gills" , bloodworms are ok, liver cubes, prawns are all good...

Hi mytank is 48" x 20" x 20" . And the substrate is half black and half grey so you can see him fine , he does swim about alot so and is about 5" long so you really cann't miss him

lots of tetra, neon, cardinal, diamond,glowlights,blacks. corys, albino, peppered, panda. dwarf gourami and a red finned shark. There is an angel in there no problems with him and the tetra but he will be rehomed soon. finnigan my shark

I have recently made the hood so i can add more lighting and will paint/stain it dark in due course!! :D

Thats ok ! :rolleyes: they need about 12" per axy if you house more than 1.

They don't have to be kept on there own , but with there own species. I have 6 of the cuties :wub: and are so facinating , i love hand feeding them worms yum yum!!?? :lol:
