hi
all of my fish in my tank appear very jumpy and now frequently dart up to the surface of the water, much as my corys always do, this is very eratic behaviour as they usualy are very peacefull.
This started a couple of days ago so i checked water quality- ammonia was 0.3 but i have sorted that...
yeah sorry about your lose, my cats annoy my fish by jumping onto the sofa, which is level to one of the tanks and gazing at them intent on finding a way in one of my cats, kitty actualy jumps up onto the tank
correct
some speices are critaly endarngered and are actualy illegal to be removed from thier natural habitat while other spieces of them are endangered but legal to take should not be moved either.
there are of course some spieces that are common although grow rather large and you would not be...
look everyone.
Hybrids are very rare ion the wild all agreed on that?
But i am certinatly not looking to chuck a load of hybirded gouramis into the amazon am i?
I just want to know if it is possible to hybird them and i certinatly did NOT want this to turn into a heated argument beetween teelie...
more crappy fish jokes yay
Mummy why can't I go swimming in the sea?
Because there are sharks in the sea.
But Mummy, Daddy is swimming in the sea.
That's different he is insured.
Don't swim in the sea, A shark just bit off my foot!
Which one?
I don't know. All sharks look the same...
A garden center that sells fish as well called Hilliers
Every single fish that i bought from there died straight away so i asked the teenager in there to check the water readings on one of thier tanks and he said "i'll check to see if im authorised to do that sir" in a very high pitched voice...
another variation of this is:
two fish in a tank one says "i'll drive you man the guns"
what about these:
Why did the trout cross the road?
Because it was the chicken's day off.
What is the best fish on ice?
A skate.
Where do fish keep their money?
In the river bank
Where do fish wash...
Hey, i havn't really thought about hybirding fish before, but reading into it it sounds cool.
Would i be able to cross breed different types of gourami?
i have pearl, golden, blue, dwarf and honey.
Cheers :D
i have heard about this too.
although some people force feed the fishes glowing sticks or even dye them :/
not sure if these glowing danios could be dyed or not.
My resolutions are:
quit smoking (as usual)
Move into our new home sucsesfully
raise a baby as smoothly as possible when augaust arrives
Make the reef tank that i have already started be in operation by the end of the year with no casulties at all
Upgrade all of my current tanks
I never knew that there were so many different ways of doing this! ?
Thanks guys
(what kind of pixes would they be ooh feeshy?)
edit: that's a neat calculator there daza :)
So how the hell do you read a post and 2 minutes later come up wit 47 gallons from the dimensions of say 30"x12"x10"?????
i really want to be able to do this too.
Well i know this may sound silly but here goes.
I have a 30 UK gallon tank that is longer rather than taller and my wife likes the look of seahorses.
Will they be able to comfortably fit into a tank like this or not?
If so (wich i know will probably be the case) then what kind and what are it's...
anemones have different stinging cells to bristle worms wich means that different mucus layers are required to stop them from operating and not every fish has this protective layer against anemones.
as far as i understand marine fish have a layer of mucus on thier scales wichn makes them imune to the stinging cells of such animals as anemones or bristle worms and other things too.
thanks and also a quick search on google and they appear fairly expensive.
and also (didn't want to waste an extra thread) If i had say 3 common clowns would i beable to add in a male maroon clownfish/spinecheek anemonefish?
