Yes his tail is symetrical.......he is beautifull i have him in a breeding tank atm with simplicity in a hurricane tank he immediatly started a bubble nest....which keeps growing bigger and bigger each day, i dont know about breeding them they may have a weird out come in fry, shes a pink pastel...

what should i look for in a breeding pair? i want to start to breed 2 of my bettas....but i dont know if they are right for each other....*love at first blup* i have them in bowls next to each other and i am getting ready to put them into the community tank...but i think i want to get a better...
