Hi, I have had a tank going since June last year and all has been well. Recently I have noticed 2 of my sunset platys acting strange. At first just one but now both of them appeared to be curved and are swimming round in circles or sitting at the bottom of the tank.Any ideas what is wrong?

The fish was noticeably heaving breathing too

The water quality is good but we can certainly up the water changes. I haven’t noticed anything in particular. All the other fish seem well

We usually do a 25% change. We have in the past done a 50% change as the bogwood in the tank still leaks tannins (even after 8 months)

We change the water every couple of weeks and use Prime. Both ammonia and nitrites were zero. We have also lost a guppy recently too. All the fish have been in the tank for just under a year and have been absolutely fine.

Yes zero nitrites and ammonia fine. I wondered if its fin looked odd. Seems worn away

Thank you, we have never seen them before. We have a gravel vacuum so we clean the gravel every water change which we do every 2 weeks. Have never spotted them on the glass or anything.

I have just gone a water change in my planted tropical aquarium (water brown due to bogwood) and I have noticed lots of wiggly white worm looking things! Anyone know what these are?
