He just started becoming really aggressive these last few weeks and had to move him into a new tank because he killed 2 fish in my 75-gallon tank.     I should have made the question clearer. I have a second 30 gallon with 2 filters that I can get just for the chocolate gouramis. But I don't really want to spend more money than I have too.

    You make some good points although I can maintain a ph of 4 to 5 it may not be worth the hassle for the other fish. Thank you! Last thing Will guppy grass be a good top water plant for them or should I use other top water plants?
