Don’t have an ammonia test at the moment. Bought one the other day but it turned out to be strips so i refunded it unused as i was told they’re inaccurate. I am using seachem prime at the moment to detoxify ammonia and will test as soon as possible. Should i still do 75% water changes daily?

I’ve removed all the plants as soon as I noticed. He’ll have to go without for a few hours but i’m going to the pet shop in the morning to get all real plants and return the fake ones. Anything I can do to help him?

not sure if you can see very well but there is white string like substance in the tank what is it and is it safe?

Noted, definitely going to grab something for him tomorrow to put near the top of the tank. It’s just i’ve read a lot that them spending a lot of time at the surface is not a good sign? Is that not true? Thanks, this is my first fish so I just want to make sure im doing everything right!

That’s really good to know. I’m yet to get hold of a water testing kit however pets at home does a free water test so i plan to take a sample in tomorrow. Do you have one you recommend?
