Just wondering if this guppy is pregnant? We've had her and a few others about a week or so. I posted a thread about having her eyes go completely black at times..shes got a very noticeable gravid spot with little dots all over. I'm wondering if this is all due to pregnancy maybe? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my guppy? Got 2 males a 6 female about a week ago. Last night our tuxedo male passed. Today one of our females has all black eyes whereas they used to have a silver ring around them like the other fish. After the death last night we did a 25% water change...

Still no fry... this is her today. Starting to think she's just fat.

Looking at her today... she's got this little like grayish looking lump right above her anal vent... ? Of course I caught this mid poop but it's the best I could get.

Also we have 2 male mollies and 7 female mollies.

In every single thing I've read on upkeep with the fish we have we have read we are in the ideal range... so should I not go by anything I've read then? The mollies seem to have been doing fine aside from the ick.

We definitely have hard water. Our water is about 140 ppm according to the water company. Once I get the api test kit and conduct tests with that I can come back with better numbers. Now my next question is how do I go about cleaning a tank that someone previously used outside of my house...

What do I do to solve the soft water issue? Honestly the strips I have I don't believe much because the tetra strips I had were reading differently on almost everything. I've tested my tap water and it is at line 180mg/l

Appreciate that but we did just get them not too long ago. They're all doing well however we are having to treat our tank due to ammonia levels as we woke up the day after i posted to the tetra we believe brought this on had passed. I believe the ammonia spike is what caused the others to contract.
