At my wits end - both Bettas are sick, I don't know what, and nothing seems to be treating them

It's difficult because TB could be so many symptoms, and I'm not even really sure how to diagnose it. All I know is that my fish are ill and nothing is really helping. I haven't noticed any problems with lesions on my hands or anything while cleaning the tank. I'm not too sure what to do

At my wits end - both Bettas are sick, I don't know what, and nothing seems to be treating them

That worries me as there is a red/grey patch forming on my light blue Betta, clamped fins, and there is a small white lump abscess-looking on him that I couldn't get in the photo. Will definitely investigate as tuberculosis could be a problem.

At my wits end - both Bettas are sick, I don't know what, and nothing seems to be treating them

It is high, as it is very hot and humid where I live this time of year, but I've successfully gotten both down to 28 degrees by turning lights down. Before summer hit, the tank temperatures were at around 26-28 degrees C, unfortunately they still were facing these same illnesses back then too :(

At my wits end - both Bettas are sick, I don't know what, and nothing seems to be treating them

Okay, Iwill try giving that a go as well as putting the plants back in there to see if that reduces the stress. Thank you!

At my wits end - both Bettas are sick, I don't know what, and nothing seems to be treating them

Hi everyone, I've been having trouble with my Bettas ever since I received them by mail in August. My light blue guy shipped to me with tattered fins and I have been desperately trying to cure them with no avail. Now he's had these white spots pop up on him, with the biggest one having red...

Just Installed First HOB-Filter - How Can I Stop This Noise? (Aqua One Clear View 600 Hang On Filter)

It does go into a cover in the cannister but it must not be very snug at all as it is still rattling. There is another black grommet on the other side of the shaft, but it remained in the motor when I took the impeller out in the video. This is the image of the impeller as seen in the...

Just Installed First HOB-Filter - How Can I Stop This Noise? (Aqua One Clear View 600 Hang On Filter)

I don't think it's even the noise from the water or the vibration, I think it's the sound of the impeller, it's brand new and I've taken it out and put it back in and it just doesn't spin without rattling when plugged in when out of the tank on it's own. I've heard the same filters going in...

Just Installed First HOB-Filter - How Can I Stop This Noise? (Aqua One Clear View 600 Hang On Filter)

Hi everyone, I've just installed a new filter into my tank and I have had this awful noise the entire day coming from the filter. This is the noise when the lid is on: . When I've taken the system apart to see the impeller I've found it rattles around in the motor and I'm not sure if that's...

Cycling Question: Ammonium Bicarbonate as Ammonia Source for Cycling a Fishless Aquarium. Should I just start over?

Yeah by pure I mean without scents/detergents and not in a salt form like ammonium chloride. I know lots of people use ammonium chloride as their ammonia source, and this does result in a lessening of pH due to the dissociation of chloride and ammonia in the water. I thought similar with the...

Cycling Question: Ammonium Bicarbonate as Ammonia Source for Cycling a Fishless Aquarium. Should I just start over?

Thank you for the response! It's relieving to hear that there may be nothing wrong with the cycle and it's just a waiting game! I'm probably just starting to overthink the ammonia situation now that it's been in there for a week. I'll give it more time!

Cycling Question: Ammonium Bicarbonate as Ammonia Source for Cycling a Fishless Aquarium. Should I just start over?

Hi everyone, Last week I started cycling my tank and due to my country prohibiting pure ammonia from being sold here (Australia), I wasn't sure what to do to get ammonia into my tank. I however, did have access to Ammonium Bicarbonate in powder form, so I decided to try adding some of the salt...
