Looking for anyone with a waterbox or IM tank

Makes sense, I definitely want to do rimless for the look, they are making larger AIO. I can get a landen for 600 us dollars but it's just a 55 gal tank. Quality looks equal to the Diversa. But with add on cost for lid, up dated light etc. Makes the innovation marine 60 at 1300 with lid and...

Looking for anyone with a waterbox or IM tank

Any advice is valuable. Sometimes I get thinking one way and don't consider options or someone knows of a site I haven't seen before. I've been doing this for over 30 years and prepared to upgrade if needed. Just barely got a canister filter last year from power head undergravel filter. Had to...

Looking for anyone with a waterbox or IM tank

Thanks for the link. In the united states. Yeah, I have everything I need. Here's my tank now. It just needs to fit between the windows. I was looking at landen tanks on amazon also that are clean cut. I was trying to do something new and different and change it up. The Aio were intriguing.

Looking for anyone with a waterbox or IM tank

I'm trying to decide between a rimless waterbox or innovation marine AIO 50 to 65 gal. Can anyone let me know if they have one and any issues with leaking after 3 years or positive remarks. I can only find reviews from 2013 to 2017. Most are negative. Red sea is too pricey and JBJ is at a stand...

    jbj tank order canceled

Haven't heard of them! Will definitely check it out. Had my mind set on getting an aio just to play with it. JbJ had a good price. I don't have to. Acrylic is pricy and no ones really swayed me yet. Doubt the scratches is that big a deal vs the build. Glass Cages looks like an option. Taking...

    jbj tank order canceled

They can't fill my 65 jbj tank order. No date set to build more. So I'm back to square one, think lynnzer pointed me to the innovating marine, looks aweaome, but I wanted more height. I can do 38.20.20. Without modifying the cabinet. Anyone know who can do glass Aio. Or should I go acrylic? It...

What type of algae is this?

It's all relative to the size of the tank. I have always only had one clown loaches in my tank. Why is that not good?? Who made that rule? If your worried about size. I had a yoyo loach that feasted on snails as well. They only get to 2.5 to 3 Inches at best.

    One for the nerds

Interesting concept, I may looking this. I now have very alkaline water where I've moved to. Never had an issue before. Guess that's the result of moving to a mountain area. I have two streams on either side of my house that runs constantly. Was wondering of tapping into that somehow?

What type of algae is this?

Snail issues? Had the same problem when I bought plants online. Buy a clown loach or equivalent. They eat snails. My tanks population went way down in a week. Hope that helps

Hi, new to a forum, should of did this years ago

Well after alot of looking and prices, I found a person that has an innovation marine and jbj who said the build quality is equally the same, so for the size and price I got the jbj rimless 65 for around 900. The aio area looks more customizable and easier to access. Plus I wanted a higher tank...

Hi, new to a forum, should of did this years ago

Thanks Lynnzer, the Oase is a beautiful tank and gives me another option. I definitely do not need a stand, I will be using the cabinet in the picture. I had a water softner at my old house and not I have mountain spring water, which hardness is a bit more, but to be honest I'm don't really...

Hi, new to a forum, should of did this years ago

Great, I will check it out. I pretty much have all the equipment. The store guy said the jbj is more than effective with how it's built. I'm just seeing more of these tanks now. So not sure if they are new or just now showing up because COVID is winding down and they are back in business. The...

Hi, new to a forum, should of did this years ago

Thanks for the info, I've found acyric to be a lot more in price. Then I found the rimless glass, my only worry with acrylic is that it will be getting some sun in the winter months as it will be between two window. Tenecore and truvue look like they make good tanks. Still exploring, seems word...
