Tank is Fluval Roma 125. Have two really small albino bristlenose in it as well. There’s loads of room so they can stay out of each others way but one is relentlessly following the smaller finned female and trying to nip and ram her sometimes.

Okay. 24 hours later and ammonia reads 0 and nitrites at 2. Fingers crossed it goes by Friday night!

So another 4 days has passed. Most of the plants at the back of the tank started going brown so took them out as I don't think there was enough light getting through the top leaves. Spread out the remaining greener plants to hopefully make it more fruitful. As you can see from the results below...

This is what baffles me about this hobby. So many different opinions and ways to do things.

Just tested tap water and was yellow. Did 50/50 tank and tap water and it was about 1-2ppm so test kit is working. The ammonia in the tank just isn't dissipating as quick as I thought.
