I was today years old when I discovered (literally) that a Pringles & Pepperoni sandwiches are yummy. Two Pringles 'chips' (Apologies to our friends in the Isles, insert manufactured Crisps here) covering a slice of Pepperoni.

I want to find a backpacking stove like that. I have a tiny butane powered stove, but would like to try gas or kerosene. Apparently, collecting and rebuilding Gas Pressurized Appliances (GPAs) is a thing so there is a ton of info and items out there.

Just got a Coleman lantern (model 220F mfg 1970) fired up after 40 years of storage. Gas, none of that propane rubbish. Last used while camping when I was a teenager. It's a nice reminder of my dad, and now has a place in my prepper stash along with a similar vintage gas stove.

Hard to tell the exact water flow, but it looks like you could cut a piece of foam to fit where the cartridge is and place a cut piece of poly batting (or two) to hold in place in front of the foam. If you can, put a mesh bag with bio rings in front of that so the filtered water flows thru it...

Get a open cell foam sponge (not a normal dish sponge), I've heard you can also use plastic pot scrubbers. The foam you want is similar to that used in the smiley face scrubbers. You may be able to pick up replacement foam for various HOB filters and cut to fit your filter. The ceramic media...

What is your filter make and model number? For my AquaClear 110 I cut poly batting (from craft store) to place on top of the sponge, and place ceramic rings on top of that.

I like to use pre-filters to reduce the gunk getting to the main sponge filter, I clean each WC and do the main filter once every 4 or so WCs as it stays much cleaner. Also harbors additional beneficial bacteria.

You mean Glofish rather than glo light? And correcting that, I agree that painted fish are bad since they are artificially dyed by injection.

Me too! White body with a red tank, spin stabilized, launched off the pump. I think my kids built some proper water rockets in Middle School.

I may just have to build something. Start off with a simple instrumented rocket to explore onboard sensors, but it may be a 401k busting rabbit hole :)

Yep, the mighty "D", my first was the 'Goblin', took a heaping helping of allowance to fire that one off. Have you seen the low impulse amateur rockets with gimbals that have a much better scale WRT velocity, rather than going "SWOOOSH!"?
