    Pleco white spots

Ahh I see- I've got tetras, guppies, cory catfish and a shrimp in with him and they seem to be fine for now I think. The salt videos are very helpful! I'm hoping I don't put too much in

    Pleco white spots

Pellets and flakes twice a day and recently introduced courgette in addition to the usual. I've had this community of fish for about a month and I'm aiming to slowly add more variety. Could I ask how you can tell the difference between bacterial infection and ich and how much salt might be a...

    Pleco white spots

Thanks for the tips! Will check those videos out. What are your thoughts on keeping the fish with ich in the main tank and raising the temperature of the whole tank?

    Pleco white spots

It's currently 26°C (79F) and I have aquarium salt but haven't put any into the tank bc I think I read somewhere that it could burn their gills and harm the plants unless I specifically quarantine the sick fish?

    Pleco white spots

Hey everyone. My pleco has recently started getting more and more white spots on their body and I'm not sure what to think of it. I've read about ich and camouflage and I want to make sure what the problem is before I put them in quarantine. Thanks!

    Help identifying a fish!

Thank you for your detailed reply @Byron ! I had no idea that my fish had such a large difference in temperature requirements or that this little guy could be aggressive with more of his own species- he's so calm most of the time. There's also three cory catfish, one wood shrimp and four...

    Help identifying a fish!

Hi everyone. I recently got a tank of tetras and guppies etc. but the previous owners couldn't remember the species of this fish (the bigger one in the photo). They're transparent in some lights and blue in others and they're my favourite! Could anyone help me identify the species and whether...

    Three pregnant guppies

Ahh I see.. thanks! I know tetras eat their young if they're not separated. Is this the same for guppies?

    Three pregnant guppies

Hey everyone. I'm a new user. I recently bought a tank with fish from a neighbour and only realised after I bought them that three guppies seem to be pregnant (there are four guppies in total- one of which is male). The tank is 55L (12 gallon). Is it feasible to keep and raise all the baby fish...
