It's currently 26°C (79F) and I have aquarium salt but haven't put any into the tank bc I think I read somewhere that it could burn their gills and harm the plants unless I specifically quarantine the sick fish?

Ahh I see.. thanks! I know tetras eat their young if they're not separated. Is this the same for guppies?
